Hello everyone! Yes, I dyed my hair this summer and I am loving my red head era! Tons of people have been surprised at how natural it looks and some couldn’t believe that I was ever a brunette. Silly strangers.

DSC_0363 DSC_0361 DSC_0358Here is cute little picture of me and my girls on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The one in the middle is going on a Mormon mission to Charleston, but the chica on the left is staying with me. Muahaha!

Also, I wish that someone had told me to push my flower crown up. Granted nobody would’ve dared tell me how to wear my crown so I forgive them.
DSC_0359And here’s another staple picture for us. Just poking some fun at the oh-so-not-so-natural-looking mannequins at Forever 21.

Wow, it has almost been a whole summer since I last posted on Eggs WIth Ketchup and a lot has happened in the past couple of months. I got a few internships, flew to DC, Lima and San Fran for a few weeks to hang with the family, continued to work at Forever 21 and tried to squeeze in some fun times with some friends. I’ve been missing my bestie, who is currently in Cali having the time of her life, but I’ll get to see her all the time as my new roomie next year. Woot woot so excited for junior year!

Obviously, I love flower crowns and this thrifted Hawaiian skirt. This is a photo of another EWK post from last summer. Check out the whole post here!

Target Shoe Haul

Hello y’all! This weekend, in the spirit of labor day sale shopping, I bought some new school shoes from Target when I went back to West Jordan to visit family. I got a pair of rain booties, cut-out platform wedges, white tennies, mustard flats, and classic black combats, all for just over $90. I can’t wait to figure out how I’d wear these and then sport these around campus this semester. Did you get any back to school shoes that you are absolutely head over heels about (yes, pun was intended)?

These black rain booties with circular gold hardware were on sale for about 9 bucks. I love how these aren’t the traditional rain boots that you see most of the time, making them unique and unexpected. Plus, the hardware adds sophistication and interest.

AREN’T THESE GORGEOUS? Now, I know that these aren’t flat, but the low wedge helps keep my feet comfortable and able to get through the day without absolutely dying. The cut out in the wedge is unexpected. They are orange. They were on sale…I couldn’t resist (:

Now I’ll admit that these are kinda boring and really white, but I really wanted to get them so I could introduce them to my sharpies and personalize them. Once I get around to making said introductions, I’ll let you know how it goes.
I’m actually not much of a flats gal (because my feet usually get gross), but these are so comfy! Plus, I love the mustard color.

I had some combats from Forever 21 that I wore out completely last winter. They were so dead that even the shoe maker couldn’t even salvage them. It was sad, but I absolutely love these new ones. The buckle and zipper detail add edge but the overall shape is still sleek and classic. I am definitely going to get my money’s worth out of these.
I wore this today and some people gave me compliments. It always feels good to hear nice things about what you are wearing (:
